The UNIFEMGA Scholarship Fund is calling on eligible students at Obafemi Awolowo University to apply for its 2026 scholarship programme. With a legacy of over 15 years, the fund continues to empower Muslim students by providing vital financial assistance that alleviates educational burdens and promotes academic excellence.

This initiative is particularly designed to support deserving students who demonstrate both merit and financial need, ensuring that capable individuals can focus on their studies without the stress of financial constraints.

About the UNIFEMGA Scholarship Fund

Founded in 2008, the UNIFEMGA Scholarship Fund began as a modest effort to pay school fees and provide small grants to students. Over the years, it has evolved into a formal, sustainable scholarship programme, supporting generations of students and positively impacting the academic community at Obafemi Awolowo University.

Backed by OAU Muslim graduates, the fund is deeply community-driven, emphasizing merit, need, and female representation in academia. The scholarship has grown to become a vital resource for students pursuing both undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
